Negativity breeds negativity and positivity breeds positivity. We all know people that are constantly complaining about everything. If you have to spend much time around them it's hard to keep it from dragging your mood down too. And then there are people that are always happy and positive and fun to be around. You almost need smile remover when you are around them.

I remember both of my parents telling me "If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all". This world is just getting way to divisive. I'm gonna try to be better.

I love this trapping forum and want it to be healthy and lasting and positive. We trappers need to have each others back. When we have differing points of view we can disagree without being disagreeable.

Mr Dobbins has put up with a lot of nonsense unnecessarily lately. It can be a lot less stressful for him and nicer for everyone if we all just consciously let the negativity fade away.

It's the healthy choice for everyone to try to stay positive.

Love

Dan

(Thanks Savell for your good example:)

Great advice Dan.

… you’re quite welcome sir ( I pray I got your pronouns correct)

… I would like to take this opportunity to inject a beautiful song about a man misunderstood

… i never understood the hillbilly things I’ve done

… if I’ve ever hurt anyone’s feelings on here i apologize

… and know that there ARE tears behind my aviators - amen

Insert profound nonsense here

I'm always positive and nice until I'm NOT.

That's a pretty funny song! His daddy would probably be proud.

I just hope he doesn't try to touch me in appropriately again.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Good post Dan. My mother used to harangue us with the same line. I think she stole it from the Bambi movie.

Happiness is a habit. I am thankful that Savell and Vinke provide shining proof of that. Thank you Tman brothers and sisters.

Paul doesn't need to shut down the forum to control what is happening, he only has to shut down one part of the forum

because some there have made it clear that even after a warning they are still game to play word games !

Shut the Talk forum down, and if the those same people continue in the other forums, you just remove them, ain't but about a dozen really, and maybe only six or so they won't give in, when they are done and gone, then just start over !

Sometimes the laundry just don't come as clean as one likes and you need a fresh start !!

He just wants to "hold hands", as he calls it.

It takes 17 muscles to smile and 42 to frown - some people just choose to work harder at being angry
