We have a huge amount of potash the left has been buying it from other countries. Just in NM we have huge potash mining facilities. Don't tell our neighbors to the north that, if they cut us off we will all starve to death. Haha, not really. I like the sarcasm. You don’t need corn fields to ensure you don’t starve. But your farmers won’t love higher inputs. In all honesty, it’s great you support country but you both have a lot to learn on what you do in fact need and what you in fact do not. Don’t believe me, just look it up.

rvsask, how about this, the US could get potash, all that they need, from somewhere other than Canada. It's astounding you know what obtuse means. Is it as astounding as thinking Israel was going to be the answer to your potash? lol Maybe you can get it from Belarus, Russia or China , the next three biggest producers? I’m sure the freight cost will be nice, so will the tariffs. Haha I mean I realize it’ll cost us more to move it to BC or the Atlantic coast to ship overseas but let’s not pretend someone won’t buy it or that you won’t have to buy it from somebody. I just read about how Mexico as well as us recently in the past few days turned down US orders for steel. I know, I know you don’t need it. ( but you import it) Better ramp up production then because 2 people you get from just said no. Evan the South Dakota Farmers Union “worries about permanent damage to the states to commodities” over the tariff thing. I’m sure the article is just some left leaning fake news though. It’s about ac trade deficit and nothing more. Anything else is smoke and mirrors. The tariffs won't end up being applied to Canada and Mexico because they will give in to President Trumps demands. The US by far has the upper hand in trade relations. It's not even close. If Mexico was stupid enough to refuse to give the US potash, the US who supplies 99% of the yellow corn Mexico desperately needs, could have them begging for forgiveness by withholding just that in weeks. Without the US as a trade partner, Mexico would fail. "Nearly 99 percent of Mexico’s yellow corn imports come from the United States, a trade valued at $5.3 billion in 2023." https://thehill.com/opinion/international/5091828-us-mexico-trade-dispute-corn/#:~:text=While%20Mexico%20is%20self-sufficient%20in%20white%20corn%20used,a%20trade%20valued%20at%20%245.3%20billion%20in%202023. Mexico could just buy corn from Brazil and Argentina. Probably but shipping might be more than the tariff.

Ok... we renamed a body of water that actually won't be called that. Check. Now when do prices of essentials in stores come down as promised would be day one priority??? When energy prices come down, cost of goods go down. In theory anyway. Ol dad

As long as people keep buying, companies will keep charging. No way any company drops prices cause fuel drops until they start losing market share. 100 percent correct. Something any high school kid should be able to understand. Yet so many believe that he will be able to lower prices in stores as he promised he would

Yet so many believe that he will be able to lower prices in stores as he promised he would There's a huge number of companies fighting for market share and low cost to get started, always add to that number. Antitrust laws were created to allow more competition. President Trump needs to look into using antitrust laws against the foreign companies who now control most of our meat production. Rand Paul has been pushing to make it easier for new processors to start butchering and selling for years. I hope Rand succeeds. Keith

Biggest stock loss in history today. China rips off the states for a trillion dollar loss. MAGA. The NVDA loss yesterday was sure something, but my opinion is the market was overreacting to a bit of news. NVDA is already up over 5% today in pre-market trading.... I guess we'll see....
