I don't believe any war was important, but some were necessary

The Socialist war declared on the United States the last four years is right up there. If it would have continued the next four years it would have completely changed or even destroyed this great country as we know it with no turning back.

Well if we hadn't defeated the nazis in ww2 we'd all be speaking German.... I'd say that one , followed by civil war. Thankfully we won them both. The least important? When we invaded Iraq looking for wmd's that didn't exist

The civil war, by far freed the most Americans.

In 1776 the US population was 2.5 million, but 450,000 of those were slaves, so nothing changed for them. So, the revolutionary war increased freedom for about 2 million Americans.

In 1865, there were 4 million slaves that won their freedom. So, the civil war freed about twice as many Americans as the revolutionary war. Plus, the freedom gained by black slaves in the civil war was a much bigger leap than the freedom gained by white Americans in the revolutionary war.

That's speculation. You can't prove that

WW1 . That's what basically set the stage for every war since. Put Germany in the poorhouse and caused the chaos in the middle east

On the other hand Muhammad wouldn't be the most popular baby name in multiple western European countries and closest major city to me wouldn't look like Mogadishu.
