It's pretty common for families to talk about stuff like that, I think.

I would sayi its not difficult to ascertain who someone aligns with politically. The trick is to not discuss it in the home .if one is not able to do it rationally

I would think if there are any discussions at all it would be no secret how you’re gonna vote without even confirming it. We have a couple liberals in our coop but it doesn’t really get uncomfortable. There may be some verbal sparring but it is short lived.

If they are the ones doing the shutting out, just ignore them until they need something.
