Jack (Gulo), We spent several summers up in the Copper Basin area years ago, hiking to and fishing some beautiful high mountain lakes. Round lake, Long lake, Green lake ring a bell? Is that anywhere near you? East of Ketchum. By the way, your place looks incredible.

There really are some beautiful places in this Country of ours; from coast to coast. Years ago I drove with some Australian friends across the USA, they had never been here.
They were shocked and amazed at how much wide-open space there is here.

I have had as many as 14 of them at one time in the apples next to the garage this winter. I am sure there are plenty of others in all the other clumps of apples too but I am not out there at daylight to see them. Hopefully the turkeys haven't broken any more of my trees off. I have another 70 apple trees on the way this Spring to plant for the critters.

I love so many things about where I hang my hat I’d need a page to discuss. But this is one thing, we can sit at our kitchen table, enjoy a family meal and look out the big kitchen window at things like this. My son enjoys taking pics out that window like this one.
And sometimes I find things like this 100 yards from the deck.
