Why? The best feature of the AR15 is it's semi-auto IMO. I don't understand why anyone would want one with a bolt action? School me ol'master gun tinkerer. grin

Meh well since I'm not master hunter and don't kill more dogs then parvo or deer then CWD along with only buying junk my piddly lil opinion ain't worth much but , it's a toy for me plain and simple idk

Like the ease customization and modularity of the ar platform. Can do every thing from barrel swaps ,trigger work to adjusting the stock and what not myself and all pretty inexpensive compared to about anything else. And this thing uses AR bolts , barrels stocks mags .....well really everything except the receiver and bolt.As
I like bolt guns so .. don't really have some big grand plan.

That being said the ultra light and suppressed crowd have been in love with this thing because they can use one of these uppers to lego build stuff at there desk that would require a gunsmith any other way. My favorite so far is this thing

I had a gunsmith build a stock for my wife. He measured her. Shes tiny. Barely 5 feet tall. Had him put a howa barreled action on it chambered in 300 win Mag. It fits her so well she can shoot 8-10 rounds before its uncomfortable. For deer I load it with 150 grain bullets at about 2800 fps. She can shoot that all day. It was not that pricey. I get that lots of guns dont fit you but that worked good for my bride. Thought I would just toss that out there.

Thanks. I hope you enjoy it. I don't care for guns where you have multiple barrels myself. I think it just takes away my chance to buy another gun. lol That's why they make so many options, since different people like different things.

Can’t wait to see it Wolfie, I n think I might look at one in a .204. Since I don’t have a 204 it would be a fun gun for rock chucks.

Let’s see a borescope video of the barrel, and accuracy on paper.

I get the idea. Good luck with your weapon and I look forward to the review.

I think they are also targeting people who live in ban states so it gives them the modularity of an AR that they can legally possess and enjoy

We can shoot straight walled ammo here in Arkansas for muzzleloader season, but no semi-automatic rifles. The bolt upper allows the use of 350 legend, etc. if you one on AR platform already.

Yeah,
Following this, I'm seeing more and more of them at the shooting range.

There's a lever action "AR" now too...the bolt and lever models are mostly for guys in the banned states, but they're also lighter, and quieter with a suppressor...

Yep- We can use the straight walled rifle cals here but can only have a single shot rifle. It might have a place in illinois if you own a lower.

Just passin through

There’s a fellow with a pump action AR based rifle in Australia. Kind of interesting. Forget the name of his channel, he culls camels with it on his YouTube videos.

This is a BCA 16 inch 1 - 8 twist upper.

It was on sale for 175.00 plus shipping.

And it shoots under .500. You don't need a 400.00 barrel for them to shoot good.
