Streams and Brooks are where us civilized folks with
Fly rods ..harvest trout with hand tied flies.
Cricks and creeks are where Goobers fish with spinning
Rods and Gaahden Hackle... Haha! Better than being one of those old fogies with plaid shorts pulled up over their belly button, riding around in a canoe trolling for a trout or two, and then saying they caught them when in fact the trout caught themselves, lol. Love ya Nessy!

Rods and Gaahden Hackle... That's exactly what I said. Creeks and streams are for yuppie fly fishermen. Crick is where you go get your minners and crick chubs.

In Pittsburgh it is Pine Crick. We also call people from Virginia Jagoff$ I don't believe that we are allowed to call each other that in here. That's mean. Besides that, everybody who is intact surely does it, thus I am not offended, if that was your intention kind sir.

I'm surprised somebody hasn't mentioned runs.
Around my camp in north central PA every crick is called a run. Elk Lick Run, Indian Shanty Run, Beech Flats Run, Gravel Lick Run, Ole Bull Run, Wild Boy Run, Ayers Shanty Run, there's dozens of them.
Eh...wot?
