My dad had a 2005 f150 all grey in rear also grey it was sold by him in elk river mn sometime within the last 5 years I’m trying to find it and buy it back as my first vechicle some more info on it. It had a triton v8 in it some stickers on the back glass. It also had what’s known as suicide doors to get the back door open you first had to open the front door. Any info on the whereabouts of the truck is appreciated. Attached is a picture of it from many years ago

do you have one of his old registrations
if you know the Vin you can look up a lot about them , on car facts , if you see that it was recently serviced you may be able to better track down where it is by who serviced it
you may also be able to get the owners name from DMV and write them

All great advice but I don’t think any of it will work cause my dad can’t know I’m trying to get it back he sold the truck cause it blew 2 engines and 3 trannies in the time he owned it. I don’t care about that I know how it o fix it he just can’t know cause he wouldn’t help

where did he take it to have the engines and transmissions put in ? or did he do it himself?
if he took it to a shop go visit them they should be able to look up the VIN in their records
I just had to go through what vehicles I had and didn't have at the shop I get tires and some work done , they had 20 years of my vehicles on file
maybe your mom can help with the records , did they store them in a file cabinet or desk drawer ect..

Did you ever think he may not want it back. If I had a PU that blew 2 engines and 3 trannies in the time I owned it, I would not be in any rush to see it again much less own it.

That kind of wear is excessive!

20 year old truck might not be around anymore. ask your dad who he sold it too. track them down and ask the same question
