all a man can do is smile back." I prefer to dare death to do another shot with me.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Hope I can be that brave to smile back Doing fine. Gladiator has been on a lot. That's a true quote from Marcus Aurelius.

Hope I can be that brave to smile back It's not dying that scares me. It's watching everyone else die.
Just give me one thing, that I can hold on to. To believe in this livin' is just a hard way to go.

I’m not catholic but I was in a pretty nasty car wreck in 1984. They hauled me to a catholic hospital. I was told that they gave me “last rights” when they got me there. Fooled them. I lived. They give you last rights just in case.Good that you made it.

yup ,often in death you are either dead in a short time or it drags on so long you are ready to just have the pain over. not sad about dying but sad about all the things you have left undone , all the people that will miss you , the things you will miss doing with them. the weddings and milestones in their lives you will miss. Cancer is a silent thief moving into major organs and then one day you hit the tipping point and they realize you are being eaten up, the chemo can slow the invasion and shut down of the organs to get you some time to put things in order and say the things that needed to be heard , make a few more memories. but the time bought by chemo comes at it's own price , sleep , loss of taste, smell , and even hearing for some. loss of fine motor skills and mental focus and of course often hair. the hair is less about losing the hair and more the irritation of small skin cracks and sores in the scalp. my cousin died of brain cancer at 12 I was 14 so I wasn't close to the end process but even a kid can be ready for it to be over at some point. I have obviously gotten a lot closer to the process with other family since. as you get older you know more people and thus more funerals because the people you know are also older.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I am not good with the loss of loved ones, having said that I lost my aunt last Sunday night, her mindset was incredible, she knew the end was near that cancer had finally won and wanted to see all of us 1 more time, I did not want to go but I did and I’m glad. She was weary but otherwise to herself, we laughed and told stories of days gone by. I can only hope I too am so at peace to handle things the way she did when the time comes.
life is good......

People love life denying the reality of the end and fear death knowing its a reality.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

Everybody wants to go to heaven. But, nobody wants to go today.

He comes for everyone. There's nothing to fear, live everyday like there is no tomorrow and have no regrets! When it's time, stand tall and defiant, who knows, he may let you live for another day. He keeps throwing me back and I don't know what this means, but I never seen a bright light and the end of the tunnel.
