Blind set the feeder area. Also put the dp's in the feeeder area. Seems like you know what they are eating but you are trying to get them to eat something they dont want.... I think you are on the right track. You might try some vorn along the woodline to see if you can stop them before they get to the feeder

In late season like this sometimes they have other things in their mind than food too. Try a real change up like a good coon gland lure in bottom of the DP on cotton ball under the trigger. And honestly any fox or mink gland lure works too. I had better luck on late season coon when I didn’t use bait just a good gland lure under the trigger. Blackies boars delight is a good coon gland lure. Also a good loud predator bait seems to work for me too when traditional coon foods don’t seem to interest them. This is a tip I’ve used from Dobbins land trapping book and it works with DPs too for me but best this late. DPs are a good tool but should never be the only tool in coon arsenal or you will miss a lot of coon. Have you tried cages also since you have dogs roaming around? And most coon trails have really tight spots where you can set footholds and be pretty coon specific. Jim

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Welcome to trapping coon in the South. We don't have super hard winters down here so they can afford to be picky and won't just eat any and everything all the time to put on weight. Weird thing is you dig a dirt hole or something it's like they have to mess with it. DP's...meh... Why M idk . Know some of the jersey guys will dig a dirt hold a bit bigger then the dp stick it in the bottom and apparently that gets them going well for some reason
