Towhees are amazing, Jack. Song sparrows are usually mixed in with them, for some reason.

I love when they visit . I especially wait to see and hear Varied Thrushes. Among the most beautiful deep woods songs I've ever heard.

My first two robins showed up late yesterday early evening, around dusk. Love to hear them sing.

Bunch of robins out picking worms in the yard and geese are pairing up, flying over morning and evening to their local spring nesting areas.

Saw about 50-60 sand hill cranes in a field along the highway , next billboard was for a seed treatment to discourage the cranes from eating your seed.

Been seeing a few robins and buzzards. Not many doves yet.

no but what a sales pitch to any one on their way to the seed dealer

I suspect the seed treatment makes the crane sick so it stops eating your seed before they have a half mile of a row un-planted
