I got one of these. I bought it last fall because the season before they were kinda useless for me. The new snare systems we can use now sure are nice cuz I can’t pack very many rams in there….lol

I have a heavy nylon shoulder bag with 5 or so divided compartments that hold a dozen or so snares of different size/length styles at each time I head out from the truck. Got it at the thrift store years ago. Have another for the other shoulder w/3 pockets for wire supports, texts and mics. A hip pouch for cable cutter, pliers, leather tool w attachment on belt for many quick links. A folding hand saw on a lanyard around my neck and a spool of very fine floral wire for for wiring brush where I want to tighten a trail or create a support location. Always have a name tag or two w/ hog ring if a snare is missing one in a pouch pocket.

I've learned enough thru the years to now know that I don't know enough. KNOWLEDGE IS FREEDOM.

I used an old bag made to carry jumper cables.

I use this one. I like the internal pockets to keep everything organized. The loops in the outer pocket holds lure jars perfectly.

Is that like a fanny pack/chest rig set up Warrior? I've always been eyeing one of them up.

Sling bag

If I had one complaint it would be the whole sling bag concept. Neither fish nor fowl in whether always worn like a chest rig or not like a sachel/messenger bag. They tend to put all the weight on one shoulder with bulk on the opposite hip and slide around. I wouldn't want to carry one all day in the woods. But it's just fine for from the truck to the beaver swamp and back.

I have considered a chest rig but most of those are geared toward magazine carry.

I use a 6 gallon pail. Usta' use a 5 gallon pail but went to a taller one as I got older. If you kneel down a pail is handy to get back up with!

I'm close to needing something like that for canine trapping.
