Bikers of the 60s, 70s even 80s never cried about the grass clippings blown in the road from mowers. Now everyone who rides complains? Even the tough guys are getting soft…

Ha!

Haven't heard this. Does it make the pavement slick or something?

If it's not in a hard corner it shouldn't even be a issue....Pea gravel & wet leaves are the real things wrecks are made of.

Everyone nowadays wants to look cool with ape hangers and forward controls...Couple those 2 things with inexperience, and the wrecks happen on dry clear pavement all to often.

Grass clippings stick to their highly polished bikes.

Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

They get over it

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

Same guys that blow grass clippings into the street are the ones to lazy to return a shopping cart !

I did the first 100,000 miles in an Alfalfa field. A little grass in the road really doesn’t shake me up much.

It’s a lazy man who can’t find his wife a second job !

I always mow so that the first 3 rows mowed, blow into the yard. I think it looks crappy to cover the road with clippings. It also prevents me kicking something up that hits a vehicle, in the very rare case one is driving on my street when I'm mowing.

I ride and never had an issue with grass clippings in the road. I also have ape hangers and forward controls, but I'm not on it to look cool just love to ride.

Pretty sure it is a Facebook thing. Don't know, don't have it.
Or we have different grass now then 20 years ago.

I mow 3 rounds blowing in like Keith. I would hate to think that my grass clippings causes a crash. Rain could make them a little slick. I put about 5000 miles a year on a bike and never had an issue but it just takes once.

Looks like he needs another year;-)

I have no opinion on the subject but a neighbor who is a big bicycle rider hit some grass and went over the handlebars and messed himself up bad. Of course he is sueing the guy.
