I watched no bs lures do it on facebook ( but he had an actual fleshing machine) and It got me very curious to see if I could do the same thing but with an old Maytag washer + wringer machine.
******* I save my sick days, because come winter, I'm gonna have a bad case of trappin fever *******

The fur buyer's wife in the little town I grew up in fleshed all of their rats using a hand-crank wringer. As kids, we didn't have any of that fancy stuff; we just used an old kitchen spoon.

I have used a wringer, and it works Ok. But an actual rat fleshing tool would be the way to go. I'm looking at a spoon right now and I wouldn't be using it for fleshing rats.

I have used a wringer, and it works Ok. But an actual rat fleshing tool would be the way to go. I'm looking at a spoon right now and I wouldn't be using it for fleshing rats. Having finished 1000's of rats, I concur.
