Cut gov handouts to the able bodied and see if that frees up some labor Should reduce attendance at protest/riots also. Working people don't have time for that crap and typically have more respect for things if they have had to work to get them.

Got a source for that? Because that sounds like quite a bit of spin. They paused raids at those facilities last week, but then rolled that back over the weekend, with the DHS secretary telling ICE: “There will be no safe spaces for industries who harbor violent criminals or purposely try to undermine ICE’s efforts.” HERE , read.

You would think the ones not working and braking the laws would be a priority first that’s the way it was being sold from the beginning that’s the way it should be done then.

I would have offered 5 year work visas for anyone already working a job where there employer will sponsor them for the Visa.
You and employee register now and we make sure you are both paying your taxes and everyone keeps out of legal trouble and 5 more years renewal down the road. Felonies = a exit trip.

around here southern WI we have a limited number of ICE agents so what actually did happen , was the jails reported the Illegal aliens they had in custody and ICE came with warrants for those people and were making weekly pickups until they had everyone they wanted.

no wide spread farm raids or anything

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

We had a foreign Dr. from I believe Cuba who had overstayed his Visa. He was serving in a limited capacity at a rural hospital I believe as Surgery technician. He was given an opportunity to apply for an extension. He decided to not take that directive seriously.
This weekend the Federal Government arranged a flight for him , and adios !

Maybe some common sense here finally. I don't think the tariffs are doing us any favors either. Good intentions don't always equate to good results.
Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

It takes a work force to generate GNP. Anymore without undocumented workers we fall short.

I guess I will never understand how you can break the law by sneaking into this country illegally. Then have the right to a day in court before you can be deported.
If removing guns saves just one life it's worth it. Then if deporting illegals saves one life is that worth it?

I will not be the one complaining if the price of my food goes up or the cost to have a new roof put on, at the expense of deporting those who came to our country illegally. In essence, I have been paying a reduced rate for these services so lazy fat arse Americans can sit at home and collect a .govt check. Send the illegals back home and make the American bums get a job.

Americans are addicted to cheap worthless junk many people miss the fact that quality products have a high price like always. Just look at the stuff made in other countries that’s still expensive and still poor quality. (Lacrosse boots come to mind) Twice what the cost when made here but with cheaper materials not the deal they claimed it would be. So who really benefits from imported junk.
I’ll start a post list you most worthless imported purchases that you can remember.

I guess I will never understand how you can break the law by sneaking into this country illegally. Then have the right to a day in court before you can be deported. How do you know they're here illegally, without going to court? (unless they're caught by border patrol in the act, at the border). We believe in innocent until proven guilty here, this isn't a commie country where we punish people based on assumptions. They don't need a multi-day jury trial, 5 minutes in front of an immigrant judge should suffice. But without basic due process, you have no way to know they're here illegally, other than just assuming, which is commie nonsense. (Again, I'm not referring to illegals caught in the act of crossing the border by border patrol. Those people can just get shipped right back over).
