Shifty as all get out very questionable business practices but they gave me an offer that’s hard to refuse. They push for the auto renew to get the deal then hope you don’t cancel by your end date then wait for you to go over. If you try to cancel then they want the over time payment that’s not cheap or you renew at a price they then negotiate more on their terms. You can’t just do the stick it option they can probably screw with your credit for non payment then. Even if you pay with a M/O they will pull the overlap reindeer game crooks at heart.

Well now that vehicles don’t come with CD players and the CarPlay thing is way more than I want to get into it would take a ridiculous offer to get me to consider giving them a nickel again. I don’t listen to the radio much seldom ever when I’m trapping I’ve got other things to concentrate on singing along is not it.

I got an offer today $4 a month for a full year so $48 a year is a great deal and now that I know the games they play I can just put a reminder on the calendar on my phone. Local stations are not all that reliable another reason I avoid getting into trying to listen that much to it.

Will see how it goes when I call them and see what’s attached to the offer they ain’t saying. LOL

Not me. I get there offers too, but with Bluetooth and Pandora being free, no need to pay for music.

Same here. Cancel the day before term is up. Then let the games begin. Never take the first offer.

These big company's sure play games, a while ago I had an offer of $3 a month for the year.
Xfinity I cancelled last July 8th, the other day I get an email my payment didn't go thru? What why are you trying to run my card a year after I cancelled you. I called logged in and they say its just trying to get me back. I asked where I need to send my bill for wasting my time, They hung up. I guess this is why getting your cards hacked might not be all bad. New card they cant scam you.

A friend of mine told me a similar story they dropped XM like a hot potato , as they said they don't travel or drive very often and it wasn't the good deal it once was .

Local radio stations playing free music is good enough for them .

You're friend along the snare line .

I canceled because it was 10/month and they countered at 9. That was the best they did. They would have had me at 5. Direct TV used to do the same bs

It’s tough dealing with crooks that’s the biggest problem and me not using the radio much is the other. But the out of state trips are the exception to avoid the boredom of being on the road for hours.

Might just use a prepaid gift card so they don’t get any useful info they can play games with then they can’t renew me if the card won’t work. LOL At my age theres not much they could do to hurt my credit score it’s near perfect with their record of abuse they might not be relevant to impact a credit score anyway. I’m expecting a class action suit to pop up someday with their shady business practices.

If I decide to do it I’ll be better prepared to screw them over at their own game since they don’t like to follow the rules, a non renewal gift card sounds like the way to go. If they choose to play games then I’m willing to give it a go let’s see who wins here. whistle

It's the greatest breakup of my life... every time I get a different vehicle. I take the free trial, and then they try to win me over by mail, phone, email and probably hot air balloon if they could.

I usually listen to books, podcasts or music through Amazon, so I have no need for it.

My new truck came with Car Play and that makes it even easier to utilize the apps on my phone. I can even bring up OnX on there now, which has been amazing.
