Not much, from the brief clips I saw China begged for talks and peace, I think most countries agreed iran could not have a nuclear weapon but we're upset how the US did it. Pretty sure if Trump cared what the un thought he wouldn't have done it.

Iran run its mouth and said they would use it on Israel and us , It does not matter if they would have the bomb by this week or next year they had to be stopped . If we actually did get all their facility's. Thats the next question.

If someone says they're going to shoot up a school full of kids and when the FBI raids their house they have a thousand rounds of ammo and an AR-15 that is disassembled into an upper and a lower, is that person not considered a threat? That was essentially the case with Iran.

the UN is one of those things where it is like keep your friends close , keep your enemies closer.

if the US and other key allies left the UN then it would look like a collection of enemies and they would make rulings telling the world that they were the authority and it would be us against the world.

keep the seat at the security council table and have the veto power to put the brakes on bad ideas.

yup it is expensive and largely a waste of time but most things security are , if no one comes it was all a waste , but if there is anything it was the best money spent. security is a weird thing you train and buy and prepare , just to hope to never need to use it,

in 6 months they will be able to come in and trade oil for infrastructure , they have lots of labor and can come build roads and other facilities and leave with tankers of oil as payment

There has always been a concern about Iran having nukes. But, I think the October raid by hamas which was funded by Iran might been part of the catalyst that put this whole thing into passing gear.
