We often post about good books to read so lets change it up. What is the worst book you have ever read? It is an easy choice for me "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" is by far the worst. I like sci-fi and fantasy and it is considered a classic. I kept thinking it would get better but it never did. When I finished it I had my wife read it to see what she thought and for once we agreed 100%. The worst book ever.

You and I have very different tastes. Douglas Adams is one of my favorite authors and I loved all the books in the Hitchhiker series.

One of the worst books I’ve ever read was The Jungle by Upton Sinclair. It was very depressing.

Eh...wot?

I read about a book a week. I have a number of them in my Did Not Finish (DNF) pile.

The most recent one in that pile is a fiction geared towards female audience, The Last Thing He Told Me
The story was too slow....too full of meaningless detail.

Anything romantic era british literature...the writers were all on opium and you had to be on opium to understand it.

I read a lot of the star wars books, Vector Prime, first book of the New Jedi Order series was the hardest book for me to get through for whatever reason. Good book but the happens kinda stops you dead.

The writing in both is mediocre. The content, of course, is a neo-nazis wet dream.

This one is a bunch of philosophical mumbo-jumbo. I get the gist of it, I think, but man was it a drag to read. He has a couple other books that are decent which is why I bought this one, but it was awfully dry.

I thought this one would be really good, but it was incredibly boring. Couldn't finish it. I bought it after reading "Coyote Warrior" by Paul Vandevelder, which was a really good book.

I like to read military memoirs from both sides of conflicts. I think it was Sniper on the eastern front, from the German perspective was very good. Red Sniper on the Eastern front was terrible. Written while the Cold War was still strong so the KGB would’ve edited it before letting it go public……lol. Full of commie gov BS.

The worst for me was a book I was forced to read in the fifth grade. My grade for the semester depended on a report I was required to give on the book. I don't remember the title, but it was very long and very boring.

And the TV show/Movie is just as bad. Too Monty Pythonesque.

Can't think of one off the top of my head but I occasionally will start a book and decide it's not keeping my interest and start a new one. Those seem to be few and far between.
