Right now, Iran is basically defenseless. They were invited to the peace table by President Trump directly. Or face even worse if they choose to retaliate in a weakened state. We are on top of iran in the ring of conflict. We have beat them bloody in the face and are now asking if they want more. For my own survivability I would say Uncle and go to the peace table.

But what most don't understand is they are willing to die instead. We have to also provide that option in mass quantities if they choose to follow a path of harm for me or my future generations. We are not dealing with intelligent people. We are dealing with suicidal religious zealots. We have to speak their language and speak it loudly. They will submit and eventually be overthrown.

But this is where I am most scared. What will come next?

IMO, Democratic voting just doesn't seem to work very well in that region based on what I've observed in the last few decades.
