So miss daisy wanted to stop at this place, (Not a charbucks) , they roast their own beans, barrista making coffees I've never heard of, couldn't figure out the menu board. I just sat back and watched the show...
They were busy, everyone that walked in were under 40, way under, tattooed, man buns, flowing skirts, showing a lot of skin, but all respectable, and all ordering very expensive "coffees"
I know I'm not in the loop about gen Zs or whatever they were but it was amazing that money was no object. Thought I was in Seattle ....lol

Anyway just figured I'd share about people and stuff I don't understand...

Kwik Trip offers the same thing at half the price and no show. That’s where I go when I’m done drinking my own stuff. I can do without a show. Just not decent tasting coffee.

Yeah, these people spend 5 to 8 bucks on a coffee almost every day and complain things are too expensive and they can't afford a house or a new(er) car.

Caseys has a fancy machine you just push buttons. Usually the last person there pushed 2 for Spanish and I cant understand it. Push a button and it says "that's the sound of your morning about to get better" I thought that was kinda cool.
Our local bar shut down and sat empty for 2 yrs before someone finally bought it. They're friends and they're going to have one side for a coffee shop in the mornings and the other side for a bar in the evenings. They own another small town bar a few miles away and I think they'll make it work. It's the county seat so we need a decent bar.

I don't understand the the menus either. Last time the wife and I were walking downtown Jeffersonville or newalbany I'm not sure whare the line is? She wanted to stop at one( it's a different one to try each time. Typically I have her order she know what it is and what I like. This time I'm low carb so sadly had to ask do you just have black coffee. Then I did add some cream the coffee was not great.

Yup! Also the same people will buy lunch everyday which will be another 5x-7x the $$ on top of the everyday coffee!

I just heard we are getting a bikini coffee shop in our town lol I wonder how many people will be going there every day to spend their money on coffee lol

We had a mobile coffee/hot dog/burger truck here for years. Run by an attractive girl in a bikini.

Fancy coffee is nasty can’t stand it, if they had bunn maker on the counter I’d go with that and still add water to it. If they only have powdered cream I pass on it never go back. I have my food stops and coffee places picked out on my most used travel routes.

Many a time have I prepared a cup of coffee then took a sip and tossed it in the trash if it was nasty.

I’d like to hear more about that theory and what your generation has given us seriously.
