Mother in law made hamburgers from our beef from last year. We gave her 50 lbs of carry over. She browned it in a pan then put in oven. She made a German potato salad that is to die for.!
Not sure what dessert is,

Went with New York strips. But I was leaning towards Ribeye ! 2 Poor for the rest of that Weber? My back hurts just thinking about tending steaks like that! How does that thing draft in the ground?

Good hot fire you maybe have to tend a steak for 6 minutes a side. It’s an old cast iron lard pot. Burn enough hickory you have some nice coals and it’s nearly a microwave !

Went to Glendi...to get my Greek Fix
Every year around the 2nd weekend in September...the Greek Church
Puts on a feed for the ages !!
I get my usual Braised Lamp Shank with rice ..red sauce .
Greek salad and a roll. (27.00 ) ...and it is delicious !!
And of course some Greek sweets came home with us .
They also have other Greek foods too...which are also delicious
