My favorite was when driving down the highway to spray starting fluid on the window and light it and scream as people drove by…..

Man, we might be from the same DNA...before I opened the thread my first thought involved a can of WD-40 and a bic lighter.
Ol dad I have a cousin that was playing with hair spray or something else flammable. He held the nozzle down to long and blew the can up in his hand. I believe it was only an error visit and he healed up completely. I would say he is dumb and he is but he did marry well, very well$. But he is forced to put up with stuff I wouldn't. Let's just say from how that wife acts I think a dna test would not be a bad idea on the kids. Proves money is not everything.

Ol dad I've definitely done that... I know it's dangerous but it's pretty fun.

We cut the ends off of old coke cans ...then taped about
7-8 together ...making a tube you could see through.
Then we taped on the bottom can that had just the top cut off.
We punched a small hole with a nail ...in the bottom of the bottom can..
Squirted some lighter fluid in it...put our thumb ovah.the hole..
And a twirled it around about 10 times...shoved a tennis ball in the tube...
Stood it straight up...and put a match ,near the hole ..

I made me a hobo stick with a handkerchief and put carrots in it and walked down Cherry Tree Lane on a little adventure after reading a storybook about a bunny who ran away from home. Not sure how long I was gone but caused quite a bit of grief for my mother. All without the benefit of explosives. Flammable liquids, let's not get dramatic.

Fun or dangerous?? lol Taking dads cans of Coleman gas and making trash can bombs was fun,,, Or taking my sisters cans of hairspray and making blowtorches out of them.. Throwing snowballs at passing cars ( until we hit a driver who had his window down) I know there’s gonna be quite the list when I stand at the pearly gates.. that list is probably 4 inches thick.

My brother, a couple friends and I went around a lake by our cabin in Central Oregon collecting dozens of garter snakes in a bucket. We took 'em back to the cabin and brought them in the bathroom and unleashed them in the sink, where they'd be "contained" my mom came home and could hear us in the bathroom. She peaked in the window from outside and saw dozens of snakes all over the bathroom counter, floor, escaping out the door to the living room and us doing our best to collect them and put them back in the sink.

Cousin once shot a bull in the sack with a bb gun. After seeing what his dad did to that rifle, we didn't mess around with them any more. And we mowed a lot of grass to fix the pen in the barn.

My cousins lived on a farm. We would go to the neighbor's creek and catch Creek Chubs with worms. Then we would go to another part of the creek where there was a deep hole and fish Northern Pike using the chubs for bait. We would sneak Karlsbrau beer from my cousin's dads milk cooler to take with us. We got some really nice fish. Those were the days!

It was the same Stony Brook Babe Winkleman talked about, as they were neighbors. Hated going up to the farm. Uncle KT had a long list of don'ts. No climbing trees, stay out of the barn especially the loft, no playing in the creek, stay out of the pasture. It wasn't any fun. Seems there had been a heathen child there once before that was the reason for all the rules. That heathen was my mama, lol, seems she had broken something, got cut, banged up something or just been a holy terror as a youngun.

purse trick. white purse with a fishing line tied to it. place on the white line on the road at dark. hide in the woods and when someone stopped to get it, yank it away from them and yell "that's my purse" and run! throwing apples with a fiberglass cb antenna was a good time also. you can really get some distance with a 8ft antenna!

It was always enjoyable to epoxy a quarter to the cement driveway at the lumberyard I worked at as a young welp. Bout drove them old codger contractors nuts when they bent over to claim their 'prize' and it wouldn't budge. Some would even kick at it with their boots trying to free it up until they realized theyd been had. I still do that to my dad…..lol he grew up poor and when my grandfather bought his first farm the spilled coins in the driveway. To this day at 87, my dad will bend down to pick up a penny…..lol

I also made bolt bombs, as well as taking shotgun shells, cut the top of the shot end and empty the shot out. Then tape a shooter marble or large steelie to the bottom, right on the primer. Toss them high in the air so when they landed on a hard surface, would go off. Got suspended for that one in 7th grade. But that was minor league after I was taught by another suspect friend how to make small cannons. We would scrounge steel pipe, and 3/4' was best. Cut to about 10"-12" in length, we would pound one end flat, then drill a small hole about 1" from the flattened end. Then buy a box of match books and cut all the heads off and carefully load the heads into the pipe, leaving about 1" empty. Then came the dangerous part. We would carefully pack the match heads with a small dowel until they were tight. Then wad up tinfoil and pack the open end of the pipe until it was rock hard and flush with the end of said pipe. The final assembly was to make a square of multiple layers of tinfoil, maybe 6 or eight layers thick that was about 2" larger than the bore of the pipe and fit it over the open end, folding it down over the muzzle and securing it with a rubber band. We had made a stand out of a scrap of plywood, maybe 8" square with a hole drilled in it and would place the muzzle end partway through the hole. When we first started building these things, we didn't have anything for a fuse, but always had left-over match heads, so...... we would push a couple heads into the "fuse" hole. We started off taking them out to any old place that had a sizable boulder to dive behind, (I grew up on a 40-acre small "ranch" in Central Oregon), to detonate them, and you had to be very quick, striking a match, crouch down, set lit match to "fuse", and dive behind the boulder! We had literally a couple seconds to get away. Man, those things were LOUD!!! Great fun, until one day I packed one to a friend's house and quietly placed it between his screen door and the house door, with no stand, of course. By that time, I had figured out that rather than a match head for a fuse, I used the whole match stuffed in headfirst, giving me precious extra seconds to increase my distance from the device. After igniting the fuse match, closing the screen door and running for all I was worth, I was stunned to see a large part of his screen door rocket past me! I ran the entire 2 miles to my house. It took the cops nearly an hour to show up. That was one of the last one's I ever built. A 13-year-old is easily intimidated in the back of a police car!
Just doing what I want now.
