I am long past any statute of limitations and we didn't have felonies for every little thing either, or warning labels for that matter.

Making stuff that blew-up. We were pretty innovative when it came to ingredients; match heads, saltpeter and sugar, saltpeter, vaseline and something else, can't remember.

It was always enjoyable to epoxy a quarter to the cement driveway at the lumberyard I worked at as a young welp. Bout drove them old codger contractors nuts when they bent over to claim their 'prize' and it wouldn't budge. Some would even kick at it with their boots trying to free it up until they realized theyd been had.

Bag of dried Peas and a pea shooter. Sat near the highway and shot peas at cars. For a trailer truck we'd fill our mouth and it was like a machine gun pinging off the trailer. If we saw break lights, we'd run like H...
Strapping a fishing rod to our bike and hitting every water within riding distance.
Fire...anything with fire. I, and a couple friends burned 3 acres once. Wasn't intentional, we were playing with matches. Again, ran like H... when we lost control of the dry grass. Half way home through the woods when we heard the sirens, lol.

Picking up un exploded fireworks after the 4th…. Pealing out the powder and making bolt bombs
Throw them into a parking lot and they would explode,,,,, don’t know why?

Hardest part was finding the second half….to do it again…

BB gun wars here. Right up until our buddy Lefteye didn't take proper cover and ruined it for the rest of us...

O taping random bullets we found to the end of BBC guns to see if we could get the BB to hit the primer and shoot the shell.

Stand in a circle and come shoot a arrow straight up in the air and see who run first before it hits the ground

purse trick. white purse with a fishing line tied to it. place on the white line on the road at dark. hide in the woods and when someone stopped to get it, yank it away from them and yell "that's my purse" and run!
throwing apples with a fiberglass cb antenna was a good time also. you can really get some distance with a 8ft antenna!

Hydrochloric acid bombs…they take two or three minutes to explode once activated. We’d set them in the median when stoped at a red light. By the time it turned back to red and the next group of cars stopped, it would go off. Harmless but very loud.

Same with dry ice bombs. Working in the warehouse, the guy working in the freezer was always in there by himself and not expecting anything. Pull the door opener for the freezer as you drive past on the forklift and toss in a dry ice bomb. Again very loud especially when you aren’t expecting it.

Was around for some I sure shouldn't have been, lol. Fun ones:
Throwing old eggs at cars from behind a hill as they passed by, until the sheriff drove by.
In school we shot archery at the end of the football field track right by the highway, semi loads of hay went by. Always wondered what those truckers thought went they go to their location with arrows in the side of the hay bales.
Bought supplies at the pharmacy and made bombs until we put one in a culvert and created a hole in the road.
Had a really skinny buddy that could reach up into the soda machines and trip the lever to release cans.
Rotten tomato fights, green apple fights, bb gun fights - aim waist and lower.

I also made bolt bombs, as well as taking shotgun shells, cut the top of the shot end and empty the shot out. Then tape a shooter marble or large steelie to the bottom, right on the primer. Toss them high in the air so when they landed on a hard surface, would go off. Got suspended for that one in 7th grade.
But that was minor league after I was taught by another suspect friend how to make small cannons. We would scrounge steel pipe, and 3/4' was best. Cut to about 10"-12" in length, we would pound one end flat, then drill a small hole about 1" from the flattened end. Then buy a box of match books and cut all the heads off and carefully load the heads into the pipe, leaving about 1" empty. Then came the dangerous part. We would carefully pack the match heads with a small dowel until they were tight. Then wad up tinfoil and pack the open end of the pipe until it was rock hard and flush with the end of said pipe. The final assembly was to make a square of multiple layers of tinfoil, maybe 6 or eight layers thick that was about 2" larger than the bore of the pipe and fit it over the open end, folding it down over the muzzle and securing it with a rubber band.
We had made a stand out of a scrap of plywood, maybe 8" square with a hole drilled in it and would place the muzzle end partway through the hole.
When we first started building these things, we didn't have anything for a fuse, but always had left-over match heads, so...... we would push a couple heads into the "fuse" hole. We started off taking them out to any old place that had a sizable boulder to dive behind, (I grew up on a 40-acre small "ranch" in Central Oregon), to detonate them, and you had to be very quick, striking a match, crouch down, set lit match to "fuse", and dive behind the boulder! We had literally a couple seconds to get away.
Man, those things were LOUD!!!
Great fun, until one day I packed one to a friend's house and quietly placed it between his screen door and the house door, with no stand, of course. By that time, I had figured out that rather than a match head for a fuse, I used the whole match stuffed in headfirst, giving me precious extra seconds to increase my distance from the device. After igniting the fuse match, closing the screen door and running for all I was worth, I was stunned to see a large part of his screen door rocket past me!
I ran the entire 2 miles to my house.
It took the cops nearly an hour to show up.
That was one of the last one's I ever built. A 13-year-old is easily intimidated in the back of a police car!

Just doing what I want now.
