My ol man always told me hit them as hard as you can and usually they won’t want anymore. I was having problems with a guy I went to school with once. I finally had enough and nailed him. He decided then on he didn’t want to fight me anymore and heck we are still best friends to this day probably 23 years later. Im glad your son did what was right and teach the bully a lesson. Even bullies need to realize there is always someone badder out there.

I did get kicked in the shin once in third grade by a girl I wouldn't set by at lunch. It did hurt but she did kiss me behind the gymnasium a week later after the Christmas program so at the time I thought it was worth it...
