I saw that Erika Kirk forgave the killer of her husband, and the whole crowd stood and clapped. A few moments later, Trump got up there and said that he disagrees, and he hates his opponents. The same crowd stood and clapped. Weird. Good for Erika for taking the Biblical stance, at least. It's nice to hear people saying what they believe out loud. Being honest. Not cowing to the rabid masses.

It was fantastic! I read a 100 million watched it.
And the people laughed and clapped because Trump was being Trump and explaining the difference between him and Charlie. Good grief

I just thought it was weird that people would cheer for two completely opposite statements (I forgive my enemy/I hate my opponent). And it was kinda odd to get up at a guys funeral and talk about how you disagreed with him, especially when the disagreement is about a core part of the dead guy's belief system, and right after the dead guy's wife talked about it (Christians forgiving their enemies). But I guess if the crowd liked it, I hats their business. Just struck me as strange and a little disrespectful.

Who's to say it was the same people clapping both times? Kinda like when they lump us all together on here....y'all say you're for this or that but cheer for blank, when it might been one or two that had done the first, not sll.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

Not exactly opposite. I'm pretty sure she hates what he did, while still able to forgive him. Trump may not feel the same way, that's his option.

I just saw a reel on facebook pointing out a left wing nut job woman mocking Erika's speech, and her saying she forgives her husband's killer.
I hope there is a special place in (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) for these idiots. And a good example as to how she is a much better person than I am. She has a capacity to forgive I do not or at least severally struggle with. My son was killed by someones accident back in 07. I no longer think about or want him to have a lot of pain and suffering but im not sure i can honestly forgive him even though it would be good for me. I thought i was to that point about 8 year after he was killed until I meet a guy that let me know it was his best friend that hit us when i was telling him about our wreck. . The amount of hate and rage that came over me and I felt just hearing that from an unrelated individual opend my eyes. I would not trust myself to knowingly get close the guy that hit us. And he did not intend to harm my child he just blew through a red light light. Its not like Eve that drive has not accidentally ren a lit at some point. We were just lucky if we didn't caus a wreck an dharm or kill someone. Rage and grief are not rational at least for me. Her husband and children's father was intentionally murdered. Clearly has to be gods grace given to her to be able to say that in just a few days. I can't over an accident almost 2 decads ago.
