There is quite a difference in watching Chiefs last year vs this year. That pass interference would never been called on the chiefs. The NFL realized everyone noticed.

Lot of parity in the NFL, which shows that regulating salries probably does work to a certain extent. Must have been some new rule changes or play designers are not paying attention as the number of penalties during the games is amazing, In the MLB we are finding that the high salary teams also have issues winning too. The amount of money the Mets spent per victory compared to a team like the Brewers is over 3 times as much per win.
