Marlin messaged me he had a stroke a few days ago and is spending some time recovering in the hospital. He says to let you all know he's being ornery with the nurses so he's gonna be ok.

UPDATE: 12/4/25 - LeftLane is home now, still a long way to go in recovery, but doing better,,,, HOWEVER, two long stints in the hospital has him strapped for money and he sure could use a little help with that. The prayers are great too, and much appreciated,,,, but they don't pay the bills. See the post stickied to the top of this forum and help this long-time great Trapperman member if you're able.

Having met him personally I can say you'd be hard pressed to find a better guy to help.

Dangit just saw this. I bought some #4 longsprings from him a couple months back and we met up in College Station, Tx and had lunch. He’s good people !!!

Two of our food shelf folks had strokes in the past 3 years. Both in their 70s. Both have recovered nicely. With today's medical expertise, there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel.

You get better asap, Hoss. You're a tough cowboy. I'm sorry you endured this.
