Been playing around with the idea of putting mink pans on my #11 and # 2 longs.. I saw the barker mink pans but didnt know if the barker #1 mink pans for #1 and #1.5 size traps would work. I had originally thought about using soup can lids and using rivets to hold them on the pan… I did a few , but I felt those lids were way too soft and flimsy.
Are they even worth it??

They made my #2 coils sell faster and for much better money. Worth it? Less tension, bigger target. Trending? Definitely.

And all your rat traps should have the larger pans on them.

What Computer Hater said.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I like duke #1's with a duke 1-1/2 pan on them for blind setting.
There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

Trim down some soup can lids and either rivet or glue them onto the existing pan. Or sheet metal. Nothing to it.
I originally tried the soup can lid’s idea… well kinda… I took a few lids and pop rivet them to some pans… I just thought the lids were flimsy… pretty weak,,, if a critter gets caught,,, I’d think he’d just pretzel the lid. Especially when a coon gets caught,,, because we all know that it’s not a matter of if it’s a matter of when,
