Yes bigger pans, that's why the Victor 1 1\2 coil with pinch pans were so popular.

Ditto backroadsarcher on pinch pans, only problem was when coon got into trap they tore pan off and most times unfindable !

I like duke #1's with a duke 1-1/2 pan on them for blind setting.

Trim down some soup can lids and either rivet or glue them onto the existing pan. Or sheet metal. Nothing to it.


Just doing what I want now.

I originally tried the soup can lid’s idea… well kinda… I took a few lids and pop rivet them to some pans… I just thought the lids were flimsy… pretty weak,,, if a critter gets caught,,, I’d think he’d just pretzel the lid.

Especially when a coon gets caught,,, because we all know that it’s not a matter of if it’s a matter of when,
