Here is the kicker. Its not just to buy votes but get the slacking economy moving. Most people will spend it 10c in there minded befor they get it inttheir hand. Add the extra frome added tax cuts and the economy will get a boost.

So is that for every person including children, every person over 18, or per house hold tax filling.

More cash I would rather see spent responsibility not sent out to me. Pay the debt down instead for example. If it happens it will just go into our roths if the contribution limits have not been meet yet or savings for the new building fund. Covid stimulus i did spend on an American made tiller for the tractor. I figured it was sent out to help the economy so I did spend it at the local farm store on American made product.

As of now I would love to know how much I get to subtract of my Overtime pay, and how much the child tax credits are going to be. add that uo and my farm deductions to see what tax bracket im going to end up in and if below the 22% after deductions I need to roll up to the amount to hit the next limit over out of my IRA to roth.

I think its time to get a cpa instead of just my normal tax lady. Its getin more complex and above her head I think. Good advice on things like you need to spend more money and if its on this item it's 100% Wright off this year with the BBB.

Tariffs was how our government was funded prior to 1913.
In the beginning, it was Congress' responsibility to enact them. A bit later, laws were passed that allowed the President to enact them as well.
Hardly illegal.

They are always blaming each other for the debt but if they were serious at all about paying it down then it seems by God that is what they would be doing ??

I mean if the politicians ( Which ever side on this one.I Makes No difference to me. I mean either side that is in power or control or can get the most votes ) if they were really serious about getting the outrageous debt paid down then that my friends/fellow Trappers would be what they would be doing with any extra earned funds is paying down that DEBT first !! I mean if it is really hurting us bad,making us weak,and not look good then seems like we would be working as hard as a one legged man in a butt kicking contest to get that sucker paid down or off. If that important then surely to God we would not be just giving anyone any money. That just makes no sense to me. I would actually be considered poor and below poverty level right now. But I do not want a dime from our government if we are really in the hole that bad.I'm just a High School graduate. I did surprise myself and earned a 3.5 GPA my junior and Senior years. But I'm afraid I am far from genius level or anything close to that. But when it comes to some things being done now days rather than genius or smart thinking it is hard for me to see any common sense in quite a lot of our leaders decisions. I continue to pray that the right decisions will be made for the rest of us.
