Thanks everyone!!! k snow, yeah, the wind slowed down by a few mph in the afternoon. Big Sam, I when I was walking out I saw one about 130 yards away jumping into the woods across a field. I had been looking for tracks on the ground so I didn't see him til it was too late. So I decided to try to track 'im in the fresh snow. When I got to where he had jumped in I figured instead of trying to track him I'd just sit in the ground blind which was only a couple dozen yards away, and see if he'll com back or some other ones would show up. About 20 minutes later I saw legs walking through the trees so I pointed my Savage out the window. I waited for about 10 minutes for a good shot. There were at least 15 does just moseying around and it was hard to get a shot without like 3 of them lined up at the same time. I think they were 25-35 yards away. Then all of a sudden my brain said, look out the other window, so I did, and there was another one, at a better angle, but she saw me moving my gun and spooked. Then one of the other ones came out and gave me a shot. Bang! Then I just saw deer everywhere. Didn't even know if I hit it. The other does actually stuck around for a long time and I coulda shot one of em but I was too worried about the one I shot so I just let em be. Then I went and found blood & hair and found more blood and then more and then the deer.
Muskratwalt hopefully I can kill a few of em!
