I know we talk about the best hunting blinds but I don't recall talking about the best hunting blind chairs.

I have several. From the basic folding lawn chair to the specific silent blind chair with arm rests. I really like the chairs made for blinds as the lawn chairs sit too deep for me to get on a rifle.

What is your favorite/best hunting blind chair? Why?

The soft lawn type chairs need a firm seat cushion to eliminate the deep dip and I find the armrests restricting to my movements.

Im currently using just cheap bag chair. Because it was cheap and handy. This last spring turkey hunting was my first time really using a blind for hunting. Other than blinds built in duck mash which is different deal. Being handicapped now i have to fiddle around to much getting in position to shoot. So used the blind turkey hunting and now for current deer season.
My problem with bag chair is it sits to low for decent view from the blind windows. My son has me in his big 360 veiw blind and its nice. Plenty of room for me to flop around like a spaz.
Need some kind of chair at least 6 inches taller than what I have now. Best if my knees are lower than my butt when sitting. Strong enough I can stand up with help from arm rest would be good. Back support would be nice and if it swivels be even better.
Not planning to do anything anymore this season. For sure going to need something for spring turkey. Im not getting any younger or less crippled.

I have only limited blind experience as i prefer to be in a tree while i still can. That said, ive done it enough to realize if getting a shot when the time comes is your top priorty, then: swivel seat, firm so you dont sink in, and absolutely no arm rests.

I used to scrounge used resin chairs form the garbage, usually just discolored. I didn't use them in blinds, just set where they needed to be....lots easier to stand up from a chair than the ground....

With no armrests I can drop a leg around the corner to swing right or left to get in position to take a shot. I like the folding cloth chairs because they are quiet. Like you no armrests for me either no advantage to them.

Depends on if im going to spenlnd the afternoon alert for deer or taking a nap.

I like the three legged triangle blind seat.

I have a deck or maybe It's a patio chair. It has a round base it's made out of some kind of mesh, and it rotates. It's got a nice high back and it's very comfortable. And very quiet.
A good old metal folding chair would fit the bill. With a seat cushion and some type of insulation taped to the back would work.

I deer hunt and some time hunt turkey out of blind chairs, I like the ease of set up and they can be folded up and moved fairly fast to a new location I also use a hot seat cushion with them,do not mind that they have arm rests on them keep my drink there rather than feeling around on the ground for it, I also use a telescoping shooting stick while on a sit,keep my gun on the rest at all times,shot both of my deer from one.I bought mine from Sportsman Guide

About 12 years ago Wonderful Wife bought me kind of a high-end swivel chair from Cabelas when I had my first hip replacement. It has arms and the four legs can be adjusted to suit wherever I want to place it, something like the one Swamp Wolf posted above but no camera arm. I really like it because it is silent to rotate.

I usually hunt Gov land, permanent stands etc allowed, so I use an Orange plastic bucket to lug my day crap in and to sit on. I keep a burlap sack in the bottom to slip over it for camo. On private land I drag a trash day wood chair in so's I can leave it.

I chuckle when I hear people complain about chairs being to high. I'm 6,3", love my Barronett blinds and chairs. 4 leg, adjustable, arm rest. Getting more of each. Using both shot him at 12 yards.

If elevated blinds will need tall chairs. Muddy makes one that will sit close to 3' tall. I like office chairs but weld 6" upright extensions .

Office chairs in the permanent box blinds. Camp chairs in ground blinds. Gobbler strutter chair when hunting from ground away from a blind

Swamp, I just put one of those today. Comfy.

Go buy a used office chair at goodwill for $10.. most comfortable sit you’ll have all day

Hunted out of a blind this year for first time. Got caught up in the “ blind chairs fad. 185 bucks and off to my blind. Hunting out of a 2 man blind. Took me about 25 seconds to realize that chair wouldn’t work. Great to shoot out forward window. Bet side you had to move chair. Sent it back and got a 300 buck office chair for 5 bucks at school surplus sale. Reclines adjust up and down. Padded seat. Best of all need to slide sideways if rolls. Those shooting chairs might be ok for shower stall size blinds but if you need to change windows not good. No where near as comfortable as the cheap high dollar office chair
