a generation of weaklings is being raised When my son was in second grade I took him on a backpack mule deer hunting trip in Colorado. I went to the school to find out what we needed to do to keep him from falling behind. School told me they could not allow it. Liked to had a litter of kittens when I told them I wasn't there for permission. Did schoolwork by a campfire. Weathered a pretty good snowstorm. Ate several rabbits he shot with his 22. Had campfire roasted back strap. A good memory for us both. He learned a lot about being outdoors and got his schoolwork done. The school tried to stop us

Wife always worried that if I got pulled over and I had my daughter with me, they'd charge me with child endangerment.
She had good reason, I raised mine like I was raised in the 60's.
There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

Last week, boy took day off to kill a whitetail, week before, a different kid and a moose. We celebrate such thing.

My 12 year old granddaughter is missing school Wednesday to go deer hunting. Opening day of rifle season here in KS. Have not told the school. When I was school it was closed a few days for deer season then elk season. Those days are long gone.

We never had to ask permission to get out of school from my childrens' homeschool teachers.

She didn't even think twice of it.
