Mine has stackable trays. Easier to clean up vs dehydrating in the oven. Works better than the old gas stoves that were not digitally temperature controlled.

Have a couple of the smaller ones with stackable trays.Works great.Convenent,and easy to clean.

I just put whatever on cookie sheets and set them next to the wood stove, dry's anything pretty quick! You can dump applesauce on wax paper to make fruit leather too.
