I would bet it is going on in every state. There was a pile of money the disappeared in Williston out of school funds. It was only a million, so the never really looked into it. It goes to show they have way to much tax money to play with.

Look up Rita Crundwell. She stole 53 million from one town all by herself over several years.

How much would our taxes be if there no fraud, waste or abuse? When half your taxes go to crap they shouldn't, they can cut your taxes in half and still do the same thing they are.

We have a couple that we know that live in that area.

The finding there was when two school districts merged they both had different accounting programs software. When plugging in all numbers to begin the merge the two programs merging data came out as a lose in funds. According to the couple we know and all the investigating there wasn't or it favored there most likely wasn't a fraud case to uphold.
So, until found with positive evidence and a paper trail which was never found in that school district investigation no criminal case could never happen.
