I don’t have a Facebook but my aunt does and she’s always sending me very pitiful posts. Often these sick AI generated photos of animals with young on a busy highway in the rain. Oftentimes they are crying literal tears.

Just another force for emotional blackmail.

Who even thinks of this stuff and what are they possibly getting out of it?

Some of them are funny or creative...but a lot ....well a majority are what we call AI Slop in the business. There legit there just to get clicks . More clicks= money. No to mention creation videos get more action then others . One person who's half decent with a program like Sora can have like 5-20 channels of slop going and just be racking up the cash

It's honestly been ruining alot of communities on YouTube uses to be you got on a story reading channel , or a documentary channel it was usually pretty decent because it was something reading a script of talking passionatly about a subject for 25min to 3 hr..now it's just som ai generated script with the same mechanical voice. Some are actually pretty good though well put together, good AI voices but ...most

I am sick of all the stories that are generated on Facebook by AI, I don't see the point. Most of them appear like they could be real, non-controversial topics, just not true. Pretty much like my 15 yr old step-son .......... lies about the most benign boring things. I guess its their way of making life "more interesting".

Most of the bigfoot ones are comedy gold.

My wife has been playing with AI altering photos. Most I dont care for when its of her but I also prefer her real without make up skin imperfections the light lined she is starting to get when she smiles around her eyes and all.

But she did send me one of us together my beard is white hair similar hers has streaks of white and we are in Santa suits. That one is pretty good and cool. I would post it but cant get this new phone to post the photo after its selected.

I just saw the one of an Eagle along the side of the road injured. Kicker is there were 4 or 5 eaglets around it. How did they get from the nest to her side?

I hate the deception of everything AI. I just don't see the point of creating such nonsense and trying to pass it off as real.

The Chinese passed laws that all things AI must be clearly labeled as such. I think the US should do the same.

I agree with Lugnut, the AI ones should be clearly labeled. I'll admit some are funny, people getting paint bombed off of porches and such, but there's a stupid amount of them out there. The amazing thing is just read some of the comments folks type in. So many take them so serious.

Whether we like fantasy or not when we get our electric bills its no longer fantasy. But I guess in order to pay for it we will have to mine more bitcoin which is not free either and still fantasy in respect to not producing anything kinda like the gambling industry.

Read through the comment section on AI stuff, it’s terrifying how many people don’t even consider things are fake. Loads of people use Facebook for news, a big % of Facebook is AI generated. Sad times.

You have to admit AI can be cool.
Sure takes away from the true artist, craftsman, poet. People with the ability to do something with their just minds and hands.
