Slinky- that’s what we call a friend if mine. Kinda useless but you can’t help but smile when you see him coming down the stairs.,

I remember getting one of those once. If I remember right the new wore off of that toy pretty quick. The best present I got as a kid was a shooting gallery. Wore that plum out.

Those heavy aluminum lawn darts, what a liability they were. We survived them.

I also survived lawn darts and still have them somewhere ha ha

My other present that I survived was a left handed bolt action 581 Remington .22 that was clip fed . I killed a lot of raccoons and other critters with it over the years !
Come to think of it I should refinish the stock on it since I retired it from getting taken along on my trap of snare line .

You're friend along the snare line .

Cork gun was one of my favorite gifts...id say i was 4-5 years old. There was a string attached to the cork and it shot the cork with surprising speed. Didnt take me long to cut the string and I promptly bounced a speeding cork off my older brothers hind quarters and before I knew it, my mom promptly bounced a paddle off my hind quarters and I lost the gun for a week.....wish I still had the the old 'musket'.....good times smile

I'm pretty sure a Slinky is more of a 50s, 60s thing.
