I still nick a hole in them dang things when I skin them. You are right, to me they are the worse to skin. I would do otter any day before a yote. Good job they are much easier to put up then skinning them.

I'd rather skin 3 otter than one coyote! Although it's not always possible Smash, the sooner you skin them, the better. Ideally like 5 minutes after dispatch. Once the carcass cools down they become much harder to skin....when they are still warm they are much easier.

But I can still remember years ago when I skinned one in an old corn crib when it was -11°F.
