So I caught my first Bobcat today! A nice big and pretty Missouri tom. I was looking at getting him mounted, thought it might be cool to have him mounted in the trap, like the picture below. Has anyone else had a Bobcat taxidermied in a similar fashion? If so, would you mind sharing pictures? Thanks!

Beautiful cat. It would make a nice mount but what would you have him mounted on. Don't know if a piece of log would look right. Never the less, congrat's on catching him.

You might want to contact Amy's Animal Art Taxidermy in Hamptonville NC. See mounts a lot of cats every year. Maybe she could supply you with multiple pics of cats she has done in different poses.

It's worth looking into, she has a great Youtube channel. She even has about a 45 minute full "how do I tan bobcats" video online.

Just an idea. You could have it mounted and then place a trap on the base. Most people will put two and two together.
