K-zoo OP trapper K Joined: Dec 2006 Otsego, MI 68	From Meteorologist Ross Ellet - Waves are expected to be larger on Lake Superior this Monday than what took down the Edmund Fitzgerald a little over 50 years ago! Monster waves are likely on all 5 of the Great Lakes. The latest marine forecast from the National Weather Service shows wave heights topping 20 feet on all 5 lakes. Waves are expected to reach 34 feet on Lake Superior, 30 feet on Lake Michigan, 28 feet on Lake Huron, and 24 feet on Lake Erie on Monday. I think it is very possible the Lake Erie forecast may be too conservative based on the overnight weather maps. Severe freezing spray is also likely on most of the Great Lakes. Dillrod trapper Joined: Jan 2008 S/W Mich.	May try to go watch them. Pictures if I do. Sometimes they close the costal access roads. Lighthouse at SouthHaven is 35ft above the walkway. I think.
