Depends on my mood sometimes I just leave, sometimes it’s better for everyone.

… everybody gets offended too easy these days

.. so in public I got two options… sit in silence and be considered a butthole…. Or interact and be considered offensive lol

… about everything is a joke to me … not sure why

… but anytime someone is talking… I’m looking to turn a joke on it

… one time we were at dinner with several people

… a lady was talking about the divorce she leveled on her Hispanic husband

… I asked her if he cried when she gave him the news

… she said yes

… so I asked “ do they cry different in Spanish? “

… no one laughed

…. Maybe some did on the inside… that’s what I like to think anyway

I would have offended her by asking if he only married her for citizenship

There are many unknown daily dangers encountered in life . . . the first one? . . . people. Experience is a strenuous teacher.

… another recent one was the daddy of one of daughters friends

… they moved up here from the outskirts of Houston

… he was heavy set then got on a diet and lost a bunch of weight

.. went to pick up my daughter one evening and hadn’t seen him in awhile

… I said “dang boy … you slimmin up … don’t let me find out you’re smokin meth outta lightbulbs now “

… he said “ hey now … don’t talk like that “

.. most would understand that’s a compliment in the form of a dang joke

… people starting to really suck these days lol

I have some of the same issues Savell. I can't be around my wife's friends very much. Made a joke about getting a sister wife to help with cooking and cleaning and the kids, one of her friends suggested that my wife divorce me over my thoughts of infidelity. Some folks can't take a joke.
