Same as my ribeye.
Salt and pepper.
I don't make a habit of eating it. Only had it a couple times.

I would try almost any meat, except any primates and dog. I would eat coyote. I would eat grain fed Norway rat.
If I was starving, I would eat every sort of meat.

Bobcat is fine table fare that can be prepared in a variety of ways. Like most other meats, the backstraps are the prime portion but the quarters are good also. Bobcat, the other white meat!

Mountain lion is supposed to be really good, so why not bobcat? I've had smoked mountain lion. It wasn't bad. Also tried deep fried timber wolf......nasty!!!
Got a photo from a speeding camera in the mail. I immediately sent it back - way too expensive and really poor quality.

I have had Mt Lion, bobcat and lynx. From what I have seen it all tastes about the same. I do not suggest eating old toms.. They have a added flavor that isn't good.

I've eaten Lynx, bobcat, MT lion, coyote, unborn goat and shark fin. And I'm betting I've eaten dog, mama San served up some great meals when I was overseas, and I never saw any goats or cows or pigs. And I know you could buy dog from the outside vendors. I have also eaten horse meat and when in the Philippians I ate monkey on a stick. Other then the dog meat and the monkey on a stick they were one-time things. And some were alcohol induced.

I've had it, quite tasty, As I understand it, the the old mountain men preferred cat meat to any other.

Mountain lion is supposed to be really good, so why not bobcat? My thoughts exactly. Why people turn up their nose at others trying to make use of an animal is wild to me.
