Randy Wieland OP trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Lebanon, WI	Thought I'ld share this since its such a cool story for a buddy of mine. Good buddy that I went to school with, Jeff McDonald has been a Billy Joel fan his whole life. He’s an amazing drummer and got together a cover band (Turnstiles) many years ago doing a lot of Billy Joel songs. Well couple nights ago, before going on stage in Wellington FL, Billy Joel shows up and meets Jeff’s band. They all hung out, photo op, and so on. Jeff and the guys took the stage and started their set thinking Mr Joel was just watching. He walked up on stage and did two songs with the guys. First public appearance since early last spring when he was diagnosed with his brain disorder. Pretty freaking awesome!!! It’s been on TMZ, Rolling Stone, local and national news. Billy Joel is a local boy, a co worker went to school with him, he used to be a normal guy, worked on the oyster boats in Northport..... had a big place on the shore in Sag Harbor when he was married to what's her name, Christy? But I guess the money and hanging out with the socialist crowd changed him.... good performer, and talented musician though....
