Starbits trapper S Joined: Dec 2014 Arizona	Madera is the prime location for the Elf Owl. I have seen the trogons farther south in Ramsey Canyon, but not in Madera although I had heard they had been found there. Beautiful photos by the way.

Several of the lodges in the canyon cater to birders, it’s become one of the premier locations for birders to travel. Also a lot of hikers in the area. I’ve only seen a small portion of it so I’m not sure if the whole canyon is full of people or not.
