Messed with these #10 cans finally. I've been planning on using them for skunk on a long loop but never got to it now we don't have a lot of them.

Had the photo on my phone so I used that to post what a cluster with the tiny symbols. It took a dozen trys to type that one line. LOL Jumped on my iPad now.
I need to come up with a better way to hold the traps in place those cords won’t last very long but I’ll test them out tomorrow then. I’ll look into traps that might fit the can better but the can does make a solid backing for a 120 coni. It’s the old badger issue of round hole square traps. It’s a 6 inch circle but spring room is needed maybe RPG has something that fit the opening better.

After thinking about it wire would be better than the cords pulling on the springs working against a guy and wire is easy to replace when the time came, leaving the wires loose on the springs I would just not wire them tight.
The RPG 155 5 inch looks like a possibility I’d prefer 2 springs incase I get a coon. Their 110 is 4.5 inch so adding a second spring might be possible if that’s a better fit.

they make little bungy cords They would get chewed up anyway the smaller ones are cheaply built that I’ve seen, wire would hold up better. I have a possum dragging my baits out of a cubby and a place with a big junk piles that’s a vermin magnet I’ll put 2 there and 2 near the junk piles.

I need to try some of the smaller spread conis the Belisles are not as solid as I need them to be pressed up against the front of the cans. I did set 3 cans 2 at the junk piles and one to protect a cat cubby that a possum keeps messing with. I had 105 pics on that chip cam 102 was of that possum.

Back when Bill Crum was first starting making RBGs. I had him make me a dozen at 5 inches with two springs. I bet those might fit what can your play with. I know I caught some skunks with them. At the time I was playing with try to get a coon to go threw one in trail. Was tslk we might loose the 160s on land. No real luck with that and still using 160s. Ended up taking one spring off at least a couple and trying them for muskrats. Whacked them real good. I also had a dozen made that fit in black drain tile pipe. Those I used for mink and muskrats with some success. I have the RBGs in 160 size the 5 inch the ones that fit the tiles and couple I believe are 3 inch? Maybe 2.5 ?? Gopher size? I haven't kept up on the RBGs since Bill sold. No idea what they offer now.

The cans have a 6 inch opening a Belisle is the same spread plus it’s square they seem to be the largest of the 110 traps offered as a 110. I found some square 110s that have 5 inch and 4.5 inch spreads also. Clearing the square jaws into a round hole 6 inch hole is the problem the RGB would fit the easiest possibility at 4.5 and 5 inches but they are the most expensive and I think a second spring would need to be added.
The Bridger 110s are 4.5 inch and the cheapest but of course they are square but way cheaper if they fit the cans. At least with the RGB round jaws the fit would most likely be easier the spring slots could be modified to fit whatever the springs required to fit the springs in the slots.

maybe you could try getting rbg's but i know then you would have to buy them and who knows how much that will cost.
listen money cant buy happiness but it can buy traps, fishing lures and guns witch is practically the same thing.
