I had a big male coyote pop out right in front of me in a brand new #3 bridger dogless. It was full pad catch but it was a rear foot. But it was a full pad catch.

I use 2 coil #2 bridgers, double laminated and baseplated. If I wasn't trapping for the live market, I would 4 coil.

Bridger #2 is a sub par live market trap also.ran them for years.for a coyote only trap they do ok,but if you have any fox,not to good

We have a few fox around, but I don't live market the fox, just the coyotes.

Savell when you 4 coil use 4 the same size, not those little things.......jk

I use the KB 5.5 it is 4 coiled with #1 coils, has a shock spring that puts more pressure on the holding surface as the animal pulls and activates the shock spring. I never say never----so far I get to see who/what stepped in the trap---Elk and Cattle being the exception!

Savell, a trapper like you needs all the help he can get. If I was you, I'd be six coiling them too
