Y'all stay safe on the roads and hope none of ours are involved.

The article says 30-40 tractor trailers involved. This could be bad.

Can't see your hand in front of your face here now. Lake effect snow and 50 mph winds. Brutal

That pile up is terrible. I pray for all involved

White out condition’s are bad especially if someone stops in the roadway which happens.

The last report I read was no deaths and only a dozen injuries. If so, that's amazing it wasn't worse. I understand that due to visibilty it was a slow speed pile up as folks were only doing around 25mph.

used to be snowing in the winter everyone would run right lane trucks , cars everyone that kept the track cut from all the tires.

everyone would be doing 40ish and 6 car lengths between cars you didn't need much visibility to keep in that track

then we started to see people who were going to get there faster than us in the line in the right lane , see them pass you , then see them in the ditch a few miles later slid out , when you leave the track moving 45-50 snow can suck you directions 4wd or not

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I learned that lesson a long time ago when I was about 18. Never happened again. That way took a lot longer to get home in the long run. Haha.

I drove in that mess one time at night with no other traffic 48 years ago.
It was close to home on flat land. The only way that I knew that I was still on the road was by staying on the center crown of the road. If I felt a slight lean one way or the other I'd adjust until it felt level,
I couldn't just pull over because I didn't want to get rear ended by someone as dumb as me out driving in that mess, and besides that I wasn't sure where 'over' was exactly.
Full disclosure, I was very likely hammered drunk at the time. If not, I was surely hungover. Those were my only two states of consciousness back in those good old days.
