that statement is as short sighted as thinking you can buy some stuff off the shelf and have a solution with no testing ever.

As any combat veteran knows all the prepping goes out the window when the bullets start flying. If I need an AR I'll pick one up in the street when the shooting starts.

Guns are going to be needed to protect your survival from the city hoards . They have no practical knowledge to survive so they will try and take from the ones who do.

Medicine?

Preppers are fringe fanatical. Although I have been labeled as one locally…on account of greenhouse, barrel stoves in every one and every building, root cellar, flowing well, some arms and ammo, traps snares, multiple gardens an fruit trees ,all tooled up in multiple trades the most important of which are woodworking and masonry. The list goes on, but to an older generation all of these things are normal and the result of just getting to be as old as I am in a rural setting.

So far some of the deals I've gotten on that are

* Just go down to Mexico get everything you'd think you'd need bring it back and just keep it stocked up

* If you don't have a doctor in you groups your screwed

* Infections will kill you

Honestly that like 95% of the " information I've gotten" 🤦🤦
