Y'all catch the new taxes she wants?

$500 on suppressors stands out among the other ridiculous ones.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

Elections have consequences! A bunch of gun control crap passed during the last governor's term but he vetoed them.

Gonna be smooth sailing with the new dumbocrat governor. She is even leading the charge.......

Go out of state and buy. That will hurt the local business.

They brought it on themselves. Va is divided into 11 districts 4 in NOVA, 7 are more rural districts. the populations are even. Nova voting turnout is 80%, the other 7 districts have a turnout of 32%.

Half of you / us can't agree to anything on here and we're all outdoorsmen and women. I'm not sure why that's a surprise.

As a lifelong VA resident, VA is like 2 different states. VERY Red for the most part but we can't compete with the high density Blue areas like NOVA and the Norfolk / Newport News / VA Beach areas.

People are voting us into the third world lifestyle and seem proud to do it.

if Ridge Runner's voter turnout numbers are accurate, you have only yourselves (rural "voters") to blame...apathy.

Our governor voted against no taxes for tips, no taxes for social security and no taxes for overtime while she was a congresspuke! Yet all those people she voted against voted for her! Virginia proves that you can't fix stupid!

Here is an expanded list so far. But the worst of it......note the changes to election laws. This was a one time thing.........because they are changing election laws to lock in the win. Do it right and they can't lose. So VA is not only screwed, they are permanently screwed. No going back now if they wanted to. No more elections, just pre-ordained election events in which outcome is already known.

Second part, if you want to know how they rig elections, just pay attention to the changes being made.

Yup, Va's Congressional district will likely go 10:1 Dem from usual close to 50:50 split with proposed redrawing of districts.
MD unveiled their new districting proposal yesterday that will eliminate the last R Congressional district via gerrymandering.
25 years ago, close to a 50:50 split.
And MD has long been one of the most egregiously gerrymandered states.

Good way for Dems to.lock.in power.
Forever....

VA also looking to eliminate mandatory minimum sentences for rape, murder, etc
AND allow voting up to.3 days AFTER election day and BAN hand counts.

I will say one thing, they get things done and lock it in so.all but impossible to get it undone later.

it's no wonder people don't go vote . . congressional GOP is all show all talk no action . . I would've crawled through fields of broken glass to vote in this last election and now I don't know if I'll ever vote again after seeing this past year just how sold out the congressional GOP is . . they couldn't care less about the people that voted for them

After what happened in 2020 elections, I've looked pretty hard at election fraud, and in just about every case......99% plus of it........the mechanism used to rig elections is vote by mail. The ways to scam elections using vote by mail are nearly endless. And that includes VA in all past elections. It only takes a few key precincts in a few selected counties to win. It has been pointed out that it is only 17 counties in the entire country that decide who gets to be president........and that may be refined further to only that many precincts. In close elections, that is all it takes .

What I came to realize was that VA is not as blue as everyone thinks.........it is however far more corrupt than anyone knew.

Unless GOP wants to go down in flames forever, they need to adopt a sense of urgency along the lines of the manhatten project to enact a nationwide ban on vote by mail elections. Pull out all the stops to get it done

in one of our recent elections (can't remember for sure, but it could have been 2020), one of the Philadelphia precincts had a voter turnout of something like 113 percent.
