The first place there not time tested. My little Honda generator is. The ones I looked at, the solar panels didn't look all that sturdy, that is if the suns shining. You can plug it into the back of a pickup to recharge. 5 gallons of gas and my Honda will run a long long time. Cost is a issue also at least for the better/bigger ones.

I’ve had one for few years. Bought mine to run my CPap when we are in Canada fishing or hunting. Have used it during power outages at the house as well before I hooked up a backup generator. Haven’t used it for much else but I haven’t had any problems.

We have used the Generac version and love it. Powers the cabin and when it is low we charge it with a generator

I have one the same size. 296Wh. I use it primarily for reloading. It powers my powder balance scales. Either my Super Trickler or Satorius. Clean power is essential for that task. It would be disastrous to screw up a powder through. It does not have enough power to run my AMP annealer. I travel with it to all my longrange benchrest matches.

I have a 12KW power station and can run my whole house for over 8 hours. Hooking up panels when it gets warmer. Backup propane generator that ties with power station for long outages. 30% rebate in 2025. Ecoflow is the brand. GenSolar has a store here so have somewhere to fall back on. Freight getting the equipment to Alaska is a big cost!

Problem here having a small generator out all night they tend to walk and are also noisy.

I love the smell of burning spruce---I love the sound of a spring time goose---I love the feel of 40 below---from my trapline I will never go!
